On Wednesday, May 5th, I took KayCee to the ear, nose, and throat doctor because she'd had Strep Throat 3 times since Christmas. The doctor took one look at her throat, and cleared a spot on his schedule for the next day; her tonsils were that big. So, the next day my mom and I took KayCee up to Primary Children's Medical Center for her surgery. They are so amazing there! We are so lucky to have them in Utah!!

KayCee bounced back from her surgery very quickly! That very night she had Mac 'N Cheese and fruit snacks! She was supposed to stay home from school for 2 weeks, but we sent her back a little after one week. She was so ready to go back and missed her "friends"! I can't believe my baby starts 1st grade 2 weeks from yesterday, and then 2 days after that she'll be 6 years old!

since my boys had their surgery they haven't had strep once! i hope the same for kaycee. pcmc is the BEST!
