Total slacker!

So, I've been a total slacker when it comes to blogging...it may have something to do with this nasty addiction I have...my name is Brandee, and I'm a facebook-aholic!!

The summer has flown by! I can't believe school starts in a little over a week! We really haven't done anything exciting.

At the end of June, Carter went to Cub Country for the 2nd time. Drew was able to go with him and they had such a great time!

The month of July is full of family and friends' birthdays! We've been to many birthday parties, and bbqs, and the kids have had a BLAST playing on the Forman's ginormous water slide!

The beginning of July the kids had a sleepover at Grandma Trace and Grandpa Scott's, so Drew and I went to the Gateway and went to California Pizza Kitchen (my favorite!), and went and saw Transformers 2. Drew's sister, Nicole, let the kids have a sleepover at her house a couple of weeks ago and Drew and I were able to go see Harry Potter 6 at the IMAX. LOVED IT! Can't wait for the last two movies! We also took the kids to the drive-in to see Ice Age 3 and Night at the Museum 2! It's the summer of sequels...LOL.

We've only been up to my parent's property once this year, and we didn't even camp, but we had a great time playing in the creek, and roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. We are definitely going to get at least one camping trip in up there before the summer's over; anyone want to go?

Last weekend we went camping in Coalville with Drew's parents and his sister, Nicole, and her family. We had a great time! We were able to swim, and the kids got to do some fishing. The Camperworld campground has a fishing pond they keep stocked, but only kids under 13 and adults over 65 can fish. We also played Phase 10 and Chicken Foot; my two favorite games!

It's pretty lame that I don't have any pictures from any of these events! I think my mother-in-law took some pictures last weekend, I'll have to see if she can send them to me.

This weekend is full of birthday celebrations for KayCee, I can't beleive she'll be 5 on Tuesday! I'll have lots to blog about next week!

A big thanks to everyone that's made our summer so much fun!!! Once KayCee's birthday is over, it's time to get ready to go back to school!

I hope everyone has enjoyed their summer as much as we have! For constant updates you can always catch me on facebook!!!
